Antonio Skármeta, who had to flee from Chile in 1973 because of the military dictatorship, interviews various Chilean artists who also live in exile in Europe. How are the job opportunities for artists far removed from their home country? What kind of problems arise? What do they gain from their special situation? Skármeta describes his film as a "diary film". The documentary includes a 10-minute feature film.
