The film shows the colorful life and bustle on the Viktualienmarkt in the heart of Munich. The day begins with the ringing of the city's many belfries. The market is still quiet, but hustle and bustle returns quickly. The deliveries are coming and the traders are starting to furnish the goods. The rich offer ranges from baked goods, fruit, vegetables, fish, meat to flowers, crafts and delicacies - the colorful market begins. Individual small events and above all the humans are observed. At 6 o'clock in the evening follows the great cleaning and tidying up, before it starts again the next day.
