Mildred and her friends are working on the witch-year project. The task is to develop an unprecedented spell that benefits the general public. Unfortunately, the ideas of what such a spell is are somewhat divergent. Only Esther and Drusilla seem to agree that they want to develop a magic mini broom that can transport small objects. But in the course of the project, there is a lot of tension in the individual teams, and so in the end, really unusual ideas and working groups emerge!
