Prenzlbär, Weddingbär and Marzahnbär are the protagonists of the first part, in which different human expressions of the Berlin heraldic animal bear in the predatory jungle of the capital are presented in an amusing way. If their current situation in the respective "biotope" is initially recorded, the "animals" begin to act in the second and third parts of the Ursus trilogy. They evolve, move, mate and reproduce. For example, the Marzahn bear mutates into the Neuköll bear, a Greek bear and a French bear come along, and of course there are also plenty of female bears in this mini-series. Hairy beasts! In an amusing way, animal filmmaker Gerald Backhaus presents various human manifestations of the heraldic animal bear in the predatory jungle of the capital.
